40th Class Reunion, September 2009

September 25, 26, and 27

Friday, 9/25: Evening social, Lila Goolsby's home (1431 S 10th St), 6PM until the old folks call it a night.  Heavy hor d'oeuvres will be provided by the hometown 69er ladies.  A keg of beer, soft drinks, bottled water and ice will be available but if you would like wine or something stronger, it is BYOB. 

Saturday, 9/26: catered BBQ lunch on Keith and Jeanne Zinn's patio (308 E Jackson Ave) 11:30AM-2PM; soft drinks and bottled water will be served but if you would like something stronger it is BYOB; parents and former teachers/school administrators will be invited to join us.  If you have young children/grandchildren it would be a great time for us to meet them….we’ll mind our manners. 

2PM a tour of OHS; Steve Hale will host; parents, former teachers and children will be invited to join us. The Double Decker bus will transport us to and from the Zinn’s home and time permitting a short tour around town. 

Saturday dinner on your own.

8-midnight, social at The Lanes (1608 Jackson Ave W); our host is Gary Churchill, stepson of Pam Churchill; cash bar.                   

Sunday, 9/27: 10:30AM brunch at Kirk and Gene Bramlett's home (400 Park Drive). Please contact Kirk if you would like to help, 662-202-2499.

The cost for the weekend per classmate has been set at $60.00.  Please send your check to Al Fenger, 910 Cumberland Ridge Road, Oxford, MS, 38655.  In order to get a “head count” also include the events you will be attending and how many people will accompany you.
