Finding myself facing the empty nest syndrome, I looked for a hobby to occupy some of my newly acquired spare time. I found Shotokan Karate. It has been a interesting journey to the renewal of spirit, of increased mental and physical ability and personal security. After years of study, I earned my Shodan, a first degree black belt, in May 2005.
Stephen retired from the Oxford Police Dept. this year and is teaching scuba at the University of MS and giving private lessons. He has taken a 30 year hobby and turned it into a 2nd career. He is having the time of his life but still finds time to dive for pleasure.
Blair graduated from Ole Miss in May 2005 and by August had moved to Nashville to take a position with Wausau Insurance as an account manager. She loves her job and living in Nashville. I'm also happy to have Charley in my life......my grandog. Being a cat person, I was so surprised to love this sweet puppy so much.
I am blessed to have a remarkable diverse circle of girlfirends, keeping me busy and leading me astray; although occasionally, I'm the Pied Piper...even with the passing of time, some things DO NOT change.
To all my classmates, I miss you! Even though new memories are born every day, I'll never forget the ones we made together at OHS.
