Well, a lot has happened in 40 years - but I'll give you a short version.  Whitney (our daughter) and Russell Harris - and our grand-daughter Haney Harris - are in the process of moving to Memphis from Ridgeland, Mississippi.  Russell is with First Tennessee Bank.  Our son Hunter graduated from Ole Miss last year, and he works in Oxford.  Although he has a long-time girlfriend, he is not yet married.

 

I retired two years ago from the North Mississippi Regional Center, where I worked for 26 years.  As executive director there for 21 years, I absolutely loved my work and the many dedicated people who shared in our passion for individuals with intellectual disabilities and related mental health issues.  Currently, I do some part-time legal work and still do volunteer work at NMRC.   Hal, on the other hand, is still practicing dentistry and says he will "never" retire.  I believed him until our grand-daughter was born.  It doesn't take much for him to take off these days to be with her....

 

Although Hal's parents are deceased, I am blessed to still have both of mine - and they are in relatively good health.  In our spare time, we like to follow the Ole Miss Rebels and boat at Pickwick.  Our only child still at home is our Yorkshire Terrier, named Rambo....
