After teaching in Mississippi public schools for over 31 years, I decided to try something new and retired last September. Presently Gene and I are working at the corporate office of HomeSafe Inspection here in Oxford. We are also part owners of a HomeSafe franchise in DeSoto and Shelby Counties. Our daughter Emilie, majoring in journalism and German, graduated from Ole Miss in 2005.
